Biography
Ted Hill announced himself as a teenage prospect at Worcester Warriors, where he captained the side at a remarkably young age before the club's financial collapse. Born on 26 March 1999, the England back-row forward made his international debut against Japan in November 2018, underlining his early promise. After Worcester's demise he joined Bath in 2022, where he has matured into a key defensive presence and forward leader. A physical operator in contact, Hill is known for his strong carrying, athletic lineout work and relentless defensive effort across the back row. His height and mobility make him a genuine option in the air at the set-piece, while his appetite for the dirty work suits the demands of modern forward play. He offers Bath versatility and aggression in the forward exchanges and remains in the conversation for further international honours. Combative, tall and hard-working, Hill combines set-piece value with the engine to contribute heavily on both sides of the ball.
