Biography

Thomas Alary is one of the bright young talents emerging from Stade Toulousain's celebrated academy. Born on 6 September 2006, the fullback honed his early skills at Balma Olympique before joining Toulouse, where he has progressed through the age-grade ranks and into the Espoirs side while pushing for senior opportunities. Standing around 1.91 metres, he offers a strong physical platform for a back-three player still in his teens. Alary has already collected honours at junior level, featuring in Toulouse's French under-18 'Crabos' championship-winning side and earning selection in France's under-20 setup. As a member of the Toulouse squad during a period of sustained domestic success, he has begun to gain exposure to the demands of Top 14 rugby. Comfortable under the high ball and looking to sharpen his attacking game, Alary represents the next generation of Toulouse outside backs — a prospect the powerhouse of French rugby will be keen to nurture as he bridges the gap from academy standout to senior professional.
