Still in the early chapters of his career, Tom Levêque is an industrious back-row forward making his way at Aviron Bayonnais. Born on 16 March 2006, Levêque has impressed with a strong defensive work rate and genuine effectiveness at the breakdown, the bread-and-butter qualities that make a loose forward valuable to any side. Since joining the club he has set about establishing himself as a reliable contributor in the Top 14, helping to solidify the Bayonne pack with his tackling and his diligence clearing out at the ruck. He typically operates as a hard-working blindside flanker or number eight, roles that demand a blend of physical presence, stamina and unselfish support play.
