Biography
One of the brighter prospects on Australian rugby's production line, Tom Robinson was born in Brisbane on 17 March 2006 and has come through the Queensland Reds' pathway as a flanker. He capped a strong 2025 with the Reds Academy Player of the Year award, marking him out as a forward to watch in the Super Rugby Pacific environment. Robinson carries a notable rugby surname — his father, Brett Robinson, is a former Wallaby and a leading administrator in the world game — but he has earned his own recognition through performances at junior level, with national age-grade honours firmly on his horizon. As a flanker his game is built on the staples of the position: relentless work at the breakdown, a high tackle count and the mobility to link play around the field. Still a teenager, he is at the very start of his senior journey, but his early honours and development within one of Australia's strongest provincial setups point to a high ceiling.
