Biography

Tomos Williams is a Welsh international scrum-half plying his trade at Gloucester Rugby, having joined the Premiership club from Cardiff, where he spent the formative years of his professional career. Williams has built a reputation as one of the leading No. 9s in the northern-hemisphere game, bringing a mix of crisp passing, tactical kicking, and an eye for the sniping break around the ruck. He has been a regular presence in the Wales setup, amassing a substantial collection of international caps and operating as one of the senior figures in the national scrum-half pool. At Gloucester, he adds experienced leadership to a Premiership side placing a strong emphasis on attacking ambition. Williams's ability to control tempo, vary the point of attack, and inject pace when necessary makes him a central organiser of his team's game plan. His arrival at Kingsholm represented a significant move as Gloucester continue to invest in senior international talent capable of driving the direction of the team's play across demanding domestic and European campaigns.
