Totoa Auvaa

Among the youngest forwards on the Saracens books, Totoa Auvaa was born on 6 June 2005 and is an emerging back-row prospect. A flanker, he brings physicality to the breakdown and a willingness to carry strongly in the loose, the foundations on which a loose-forward game is built. As a developing player in the early stages of his journey, Auvaa represents part of the academy talent coming through at Saracens, one of the most established environments in English club rugby. The challenge facing any young forward is to add the size, conditioning and tactical understanding required to compete for senior selection in the Gallagher Premiership, and Auvaa's pathway is geared towards that gradual progression. His attributes — defensive grit and the ability to provide go-forward ball — are the building blocks of his game. For now, the priority is development: accumulating experience, sharpening the technical side of forward play and pushing for opportunities within a competitive squad. If he continues on his current trajectory, Auvaa has the raw qualities to establish himself as a useful option in the Saracens forward unit.
