Biography
One of the youngest forwards in the Sale Sharks system, Tye Raymont was born on 19 July 2005 and is England-qualified. A flanker by trade, his game is shaped by the demands of the back row: work rate at the breakdown, a willingness to put in defensive shifts and a physical edge in the contact area. As an emerging talent still in the early stages of his senior journey, Raymont represents part of the next generation coming through at the AJ Bell Stadium. The path for a young loose forward in the Gallagher Premiership is a demanding one, requiring him to add size, experience and tactical understanding while competing against established internationals for a place in the pack. His attributes — relentless effort over the ball and a strong defensive presence — are the foundations on which a back-row career is built. For Raymont, the immediate priorities are continued physical development and accumulating senior minutes, with the longer-term aim of converting his potential into a settled role in the Sale forward unit.
