Will Knight

Will Knight is a young forward developing through the Gloucester Rugby academy system. Born on 3 April 2007, he is still in the early stages of his development, learning his trade as a tight-five and back-row option within the club's pathway. Knight's game is built around physicality at the contact area, a willingness to carry into traffic and the kind of honest work in defence and at the set-piece that coaches value in a developing forward. As one of the younger players coming through at Kingsholm, his focus is on adding the size, conditioning and consistency that senior professional rugby demands. Coming through at a club with a strong forward tradition gives him experienced professionals to learn from and a clear standard to aspire to. The foundations of a robust, hard-working forward are in place, and with continued development he has the platform to push for a wider role in the years ahead.
