Biography

Born on 12 July 1996, Will Stuart is an English tighthead prop whose performances for Bath Rugby have made him one of the most consistent scrummagers in the Premiership front row. He made his Test-match debut for England in 2020 and has since become a long-term member of the senior front-row picture. Stuart's game is defined by scrum craft and durability. He is a powerful, technically sound tighthead who holds his body position well under heavy load and gives his forward pack a reliable platform from which to build. Around the field he contributes as a willing carrier in the tight channels and an engaged defender in close-quarters collision work, fitting the all-round profile Bath have developed in their pack. His England selection opened the door to Test-match rugby, including Six Nations involvement and exposure to the most demanding international front-row battles. That international platform has sharpened the technical detail of his scrum work and placed him among the senior tightheads in the English game. At Bath he has become a cornerstone of the club's forward pack, trusted to absorb heavy minutes and take on elite opposition scrummagers. Stuart remains one of the more dependable tighthead options in the Premiership and a forward whose career has been shaped by steady, high-quality output on both club and international stages.
