Biography
Yvan Reilhac is an experienced French back who has been a key figure in US Montauban's recent success. Born on 9 June 1995, the centre joined the club in 2024 from Montpellier, bringing a wealth of top-level know-how to a side chasing promotion. He played a central role in Montauban's 2024/25 Pro D2 title-winning campaign, contributing through the playoffs as the club beat Grenoble 24-19 in the final to return to the Top 14 after a 15-year absence. Valued for his game management, technical kicking and composure in the midfield, Reilhac offers the kind of seasoned decision-making that steadies a back line in tight knockout matches. Comfortable across the centres and able to cover other positions in the back line, he combines positional intelligence with a reliable defensive presence. Though he has not been capped by France at senior level, his consistency and leadership have made him an important presence at club level throughout his career. Now competing in the Top 14 with Montauban, the veteran's experience will be a significant asset as the side adjusts to life back in the top flight.
