Biography
Zane Nonggorr is an Australian tighthead prop born on 30 March 2001, and one of the most promising young scrummagers in Super Rugby Pacific. A product of the Queensland Reds system, he has become a core part of the Reds' forward pack and earned his first Wallabies cap in 2023. Nonggorr's game is built on raw scrummaging strength and a willing work rate in the loose. Powerfully built for his age, he has shown the kind of physical maturity that allows him to compete with established international tightheads, while also offering the mobility expected of a modern front-rower. His progression has been steady rather than rushed, with the Reds and Wallabies coaches investing in his long-term development. As Australia rebuild their depth in the front row ahead of major international cycles, Nonggorr represents an important homegrown asset, combining set-piece capability with the potential to grow into a regular Test starter.
